is only 14 cents.
Expanded Calling Area
Find yourself calling friends, family and
businesses in surrounding towns and paying a high long distance fee?
HMU's Harlan Plus plan allows you to call 33 area
towns at a discount.
Option A: Flat fee of $25 per month and up to 350
minutes per month free and nine cents per minute for additional
minutes. Works best for high volume users.
Option B:
Flat fee of $1.00 per month and nine
cents per minute for all calls to listed towns. Works best for
moderate long distance users.
Towns included in the calling area: Atlantic,
Audubon, Avoca, Brayton, Carson, Defiance, Denison, Dow City,
Dunlap, Earling, Elk Horn, Exira, Hancock, Kimballton, Lewis, Logan,
Magnolia, Manilla, Manning, Marne, Minden, Neola, Oakland, Panama,
Persia, Portsmouth, Shelby, Templeton, Underwood, Vail, Walnut,
Wiota and Woodbine.

State-Of-The-Art Internet service is the latest technology. The service uses a CABLE MODEM rather than a
phone modem. The Cable Modem is provided by HMU and is included
in the monthly fee. Because access is through a Cable Modem,
this service is many times faster than conventional dial up phone
modem access. Advanced spam filtering and virus protection is
included in the service but we recommend additional protection on your
